So tired.. yet I feel like writing. It just makes me feel good, just like talking to an old friend. Someone who listens, who understands, who is just there for me at anytime, anywhere.
Has everyone out there tried 盆菜 ? This year is my first time trying it and yet had it twice already. Check it out if you havent, as it's really delicious. Abalone, Scallops, oysters, pork knuckles, prawns, sea cucumber, and many many (haha.. I forgot, too busy eating) in one pot !!
No mahjong games so far, so no mahjong jokes for you.. hehe.. However, we have many card game sessions. Most enjoyable ones were with my sisters and cousins. So much fun and laughter. We just get so crazy with that deck of cards infront of us. Some conversations here.
"try the sweets, very nice.. some from Indonesia, some from USA" *trying* "really have the USA taste" "haha.. USA got special taste ?"
*took a card* "OMG" "good god or bad god?" "bad one" "haha.. gone case liao"
"how many times if we get triple 7?" "7 times lor, so hard to get" "Waaaa.. den can eat foie gras already" "what foie gras ? You can eat fugu too" "haha.. ya ya"
Maybe you got to be part of us to feel our joy .
Afternote ~ on 盆菜. I found this on ST 20 Feb. 盆菜 is known as Treasure Bowl. It is the ultimate takeaway luxury for a home celebration. The "Tung Lok" Treasure Bowl, which we had, is packed with season's priced ingredients of over 12 types of braised delicacies. Presented in an attractive claypot.
