writing is a form of THERAPY

Sometimes you can only wish. Wish for things that are never there. Hope for things you will never get.

But sometimes..

Believing will be alot better than wishing.

Long before e-card is popular like these days, I usually would spare some time to visit the Hallmark Cards stores whenever I am in the malls. It's just so nice to see the beautiful cards and read the words inside the cards.

Once, when I was looking through the "encouragement" card section, I found a cute card with a very inspired story.



The Little Pencil that could

Once there was a little pencil that wanted to write a letter.

Big people would say you're not good, you're just an ordinary #2 pencil that's only good for grade school math and toss it in dark drawer.

But the little pencil knows it was capable at much, much more.

One day after doing some figures while the calculator was on the fritz, the little pencil was left out on top of the desk near some nice and clean paper.

The little pencil tried and tried and scratched itself to the limits and soon it was writing words and complete sentences with real meaning which just goes to show that anyone can write if they just try.


I still enjoy browsing through the greeting cards and will still buy them for friends and love ones. E-cards just dont give that personal touch.
