Snow.Wolf.Lake is here again. Tonight at the indoor stadium. As the story unfolded of the ill fated love between a poor gardener Wolf (Cheung), and rich boss' daughter, Snow, being destroyed by a jealous third party and a greedy mother, three were many sniffles in the house as well. It's nice and touching.. but I dont get to watch again. They came few years back. I remember I watched with my mum coz my dad was not in town. They supposed to watch together. It was in cantonese then. I only remembered we sat at the first row. The cast is also slightly different now. It was Nadia Chan playing the elder sister with Kit Chan, the younger sister. Now Nadia playing the younger sister and Evonne Hsu, the elder sister. (Snow is the elder daughter of the rich boss). Both girls love Wolf.
Snow.Wolf.Lake is an extravaganza in all senses of the word. No expense was spared, from the specular set to the colourful costumes. Scenes changed miraculously fast with the fully-automated stage that went from being a mansion with hanging chandeliers to a run-down church and a marketplace. There was even a bobbing boat.
Naturally, a musical would be incomplete without the songs. My 2 favourite songs are 不老的传说 and 爱是永恒.
